The luxury of Sivasagar Town, we the Hotel Brahmaputra have long been serving our dear & near clients from around the world. This retro style art & interior Hotel, was built in the year 1987. The first of its kind in the town of Sivasagar, captures the essence of the town in its traditional face with a blend of old & new, the conventional & contemporary giving rise to an aura of timelessness. We are simple yet exciting, looking to push boundaries while continuing to set trends like we have been. We offer you a place you can call home away from home, with comforts in an environment with a strong character & jubilance.

Commitment to our Land

Plantation Initiative
Being fortunate to belong to a region of scenic beauty, our importance to nature is as important as comfort of our people. Our Hotel has led from the front with striking interventions that make it stand out as being very People & Environment-Friendly hotel in the town of Sivasagar. We are proud to include such initiatives & be a part of. Our local partner for this initiative is Heuzi Dharani Dhuniya. This initiative was introduced by Nabajyoti Saikia.

NGO Initiative

We partner with SHAPE, a local NGO currently run by Mr. Parag Goswami. Mr. Goswami & his team at SHAPE provides homes for differently-able children, orphans & acts as an old age home to many. India is known for its vibrant cultures, these cultures bring in festivals that span throughout the year. Our team of Employee’s from the Brahmaputra Group provides raw materials, plays a part in cooking & teaching alongside in such occasions throughout the year. The importance of giving back to the community & making them feel loved as they should be is what we aspire for. We further economically reward them for their time & zeal.

In House waste Management System
Most of our wastes are managed in house. Waste from our kitchen is managed by our water treatment plant & waste management plant that is in house. Out of which few Bio Degradable waste is given back to farmers which they then use as natural fertilizers or are fed to domestic animals that help the farmlands. The Non Bio Degradable wastes are given to the municipality who then help recycle it through different channels of their own.
