The first of its kind in the town of Sivasagar, captures the essence of the town in its traditional face with a blend of old & new, the conventional & contemporary giving rise to an aura of timelessness. We are simple yet exciting, looking to push boundaries while continuing to set trends like we have been. We offer you a place you can call home away from home, with comforts in an environment with a strong character & jubilance. Hotel Brahmaputra in Sivasagar paved the way for the future. We have been fortunate enough to open two other hospitality properties under the same group. Hotel Brahmaputra in Nazira & The Brahmaputra (Bar & Restaurant) have been our recent projects of this decade. We continue to grow, expand our horizon & aspire to achieve our dreams.

Mr. Baruah is an avid achiever. This luxurious institute of comfort was an ever recurring dream until he made it his reality. At the young age of 27 he set out his achieve his daring dream & has not looked backed since. Mr. Baruah went on to complete his Hotel Management from IHM Pusa, New Delhi. He’s had the pleasure of introducing three other hospitality properties & has been involved in other ventures such as Real Estate, Transformer Manufacturing, IOC Retail Outlets & Construction. “We push for excellence in the things we do & we settle for nothing less. Passion, Drive & Enthusiasm is what keeps us going. I am fortunate enough to have the things that I have & have been blessed by a hard working team of employees. I’d have to thank my wife for being the rock of my life & having such a positive influence, not just on me but everyone in the company. She has pushed me to achieve more that I had imagined.”

Mrs. Baruah has a remarkable eye for art & interior. Her touch of brilliance & work can be seen throughout all properties of the Brahmaputra Group. The Brahmaputra (Bar & Restaurant) project’s brainchild has been none other than Mrs. Baruah, the proprietor & wife of Mr. Sanjay Baruah. Having experience in the field Mrs. Baruah undertakes the projects art & interior under her wing, upon completion giving us an exquisite Family Dining Experience. “My employees here are my family. We celebrate festivals together, birthdays among other things. The togetherness, the bond is something you don’t find often among other business or hotel, but you can rest assure you can find it here. Now, down to the interior bit, it was never my dream to be an art decor or interior designer. In fact I’ve never had any formal training for any of it. It’s something I sought out to do whenever I could as I enjoy doing it as a hobby. The things I set out to do have turned out great, I’ve been lucky so far. I wish the futures is as kind to me as it has been.”
